Philip Brady’s latest book is Phantom Signs: The Muse in Universe City, forthcoming from the University of Tennessee Press in 2018. A book length poem, To Banquet with the Ethiopians: A Memoir of Life Before the Alphabet appeared from Broadstone in 2015. He has published three previous collections of poems, a memoir, and a book of essays, and has edited a book on James Joyce and an anthology, Poems & Their Making: A Conversation. He has been awarded an Ohio Governor’s Award in Arts Education, an Ohioana Award, A ForeWord Magazine Gold Medal, six Ohio Arts Council Fellowships, and a Thayer Fellowship. He is a Distinguished Professor of English at Youngstown State University and Executive Director of Etruscan Press.
